I made those comments to point out the small hypocrisy people have in arguing with bronies- in that the typical argument is that they “stole the show” from kids, and made it about them and what they wanted and how we’re kind of doing the same thing.
And I know that rule 34 is a thing, but I’m pretty sure the creators made a request to not sexualize or draw porn with Stellar Eclipse because he was an OC for a kid’s Wish (Make A Wish Foundation) and they did it anyways? And I mainly had that as a disclaimer because I would hope no one in SU fandom would do that. But still.
(I could be wrong about that last bit, but that’s just because I haven’t really done any looking into it and when I did, I found stuff on somewhat unreliable sites so who knows)
Actually that business with Stellar Eclipse & his owner Sylvain, who is 18 btw, has been debunked a long time ago, and here’s what really happened.
The artist who made the art had no idea that SE was someone else’s OC (There were only a couple explicit pictures at the time). Some guys from 4chan decided to cause some drama. His mother thought this was a problem, but didn’t consider Sylvain’s feelings about this. She apologized for her statement. Sylvain has mentioned as an artist he’s open to different forms of art, and had no qualms about his OCs depictions.
